It was the month of november 2015. The temperature of Anandpur Sahib was then 20 Celsius. Anandpur Sahib,Nangal Dam, Bhakra Dam was full of tourists who came from various parts of our country and even from the abroad.We all loved this trip
Anandpur Sahib, is one of the most important sacred places of the Sikhs and is very closely linked with their religious history and tradition. Located on the lower spurs of the Himalayas, Anandpur Sahib is surrounded by beautiful pictorious natural scenery with the sparkling River Sutlej gliding past through the city. Holla Mohalla is one of the most famous celebrated festivals in the city and has been drawing in thousands of thousands people to the city for this festival. March is the best time to be here with your friends or family as you will be able to witness the hugely celebrated festival. For this the 3 day itinerary planned for you. By the time you are back, it’s going to be evening. So lets not make the day too tiring. Let offer your prayers at the Gurudwara Shri Qila Anandgarh Sahib. It is an ancient and the famous shrine of Sikhs for people in the city of Anandpur Sahib. This Gurudwara posses’s the powerful Qila out of the other six Qila’s of Anandpur. It was built by the Sikh Guru- Guru Gobind Singh ji the tenth Sikh Guru. There is a big sacred pond, Baoli Sahib, situated nearby where you can simply sit back with friends and relax. Choose to have you meal of evening at a Punjabi Dhaba located in the market area and just roam around the lane before heading back to the hotel.
